REF SNFR Equipment Review Request Form Instructions This form is used to request a Real Estate and Facilities Review of any equipment requests or Significant New Funding Requests that may impact facilities. This review will consider locations, space, building structure, infrastructure, and other coordination issues related to the built and installation environment. This review does not provide for the approval of this budget item; instead, it provides input to the budget review process. Feedback may include suggestions related to the request, potential facilities budget impacts, and scheduling recommendations. 1. A Department/Campus Budget Coordinator may submit a REF SNFR/Equipment Review Request Form at any time in the budget development process, understanding that a SNFR or equipment request will not be approved until REF coordination is completed. If it is known that an equipment item will have a facilities impact, it may be helpful to submit a coordination request ahead of a SNFR request. This will provide an opportunity to include any feedback along with the justification in the SNFR. 2. Fill out and submit Significant New Funding Request(SNFR) to the District Budget Analyst (Jessica McKee). 3. The District Budget Analyst may require a REF Review of any SNFR where a REF review has not already taken place or where a need for an appraisal is identified. At that time, the department/campus budget coordinator should submit a REF SNFR/Equipment Review Request Form through iService. 4. With the form submission, please include the referenced SNFR and any quotations, equipment specifications, drawings, and other information necessary for a complete review. If additional information is needed, REF will contact the requestor. 5. Following the Review, comments and suggestions will be submitted to the requestor and the District Budget Analyst.
